Frequently asked questions
What file types can I scan?
PDF, PNG, or JPG, up to 10MB each. A multi-page PDF is split into one image per page automatically before OCR runs.
Why didn't my spreadsheet import save?
Importing a spreadsheet is a quick way to view or export a register you already keep elsewhere — those rows only exist in your browser for the current session. Only documents processed through Scan documents are saved to your account.
What happens if a scan fails?
It's flagged in the upload queue instead of being added to your register, so nothing partially read ever becomes a real record. You can retry it or remove it from the queue.
I belong to more than one company — how do I switch?
Open Company Management, select the company you want, and choose Switch to in its detail panel. Everything else in recodocument — Dashboard, Sales, Purchases, and so on — follows the active company.
Does Tax Computation change my Sales, Purchases, or Certificate records?
No. It only reads them to resolve the applicable ATC and rate for a period. Editing a source record afterward marks that period's computation outdated so you know to recalculate.
What's the difference between the source ATC and the applicable ATC?
The source ATC is whatever's printed on or extracted from the document itself. Tax Computation separately resolves the applicable ATC for withholding purposes and flags a mismatch instead of silently overwriting the source value.
What can a Client-role user see?
A reduced view of Sales, Purchases, and Certificates, with financial amounts and reference details hidden and no export option — meant for sharing status with someone outside your own team.
Can I sign in with Google?
Yes. Choose Continue with Google on the login or signup page — it links to an existing account by matching email, or creates a new one if none exists.
